Edward C. Wiggett

Edward C. Wiggett, 85, of Sargent Street died unexpectedly Monday, August 31, 2009 at Lafayette Center in Franconia, NH following complications from heart surgery.

Born on December 19, 1923 in Campton, NH he was the son of Clarence C. & Josephine (LaPoint) Wiggett.

A lifelong resident of Lincoln, he attended Lincoln Schools.

During WWII, he served in the US Navy Seabees.

He was employed at Franconia Paper Company in the woods department and retired from the Town of Lincoln Highway Department.

He enjoyed working in his garden and cooking.

His wife of 55 years Emma (Wright) Wiggett and his daughter Jeanne Clark both predeceased him.

Survivors include a son Edward C. Wiggett & his wife Barbara of Lincoln, NH

A daughter Annie Coffin and her husband Ray of Fairlee, VT

7 Grandsons, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren

3 Brothers: John Wiggett of So. Carolina, Floyd Wiggett of Littleton, NH, and Joseph Wiggett of Landaff, NH

A sister Joyce Cawley of No. Woodstock, NH

A graveside service will be held at 10am Saturday, September 5th at the family plot at Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln, NH.

Arrangements are by Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, North Woodstock, NH.
