Betty Lou Carmichel, 69, of Rt. 112 North Woodstock, died Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at Dartmouth - Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

Betty Lou was born in Syracuse, New York on September 6, 1939, the daughter of the late Rev. Campbell and Helen (Smith) Carmichel. She lived in Sugar Hill before moving to North Woodstock. Mrs. Carmichel formerly owned and operated Sunset Hill House in Sugar Hill. Most recently she was the proprietor of Mountain Country Antiques in North Woodstock., Mrs. Carmichel was a member of the Church of the Messiah in North Woodstock. She was a Former Member of the chamber of commerce and White Mountain Attractions. She enjoyed spending time with her family

Family members include her sister, Diane Schneider of Pine Island Florida, two nieces and a nephew, grand nieces and nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be at the Church of the Messiah, School St. North Woodstock on Sunday, March 29th, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Teresa Gocha, and Rev. Alexander Carmichel officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery Westfield, NJ.
