Committal Service for Alice Flagg will be on Wednesday May 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Riverside Cemetery, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Flagg, 89, of Rue De Gionet died Monday, March 30th, 2009 at her residence.
Mrs. Flagg was born in Newport, Rhode Island on January 16, 1920, the daughter of the late Oscar E. and Bessie (Patterson) Anderson. She attended Newport Schools. Mrs. Flagg earned an associates degree from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Providence, RI. She worked twenty four years as a secretary for the Naval Public Works Center in Newport, RI. Upon retirement she and her husband moved to Lincoln. Mrs. Flagg enjoyed Knitting and Knitted Baby Clothes and blankets as well as Afghans for the fair at the Church of the Messiah in Woodstock.
Family members include her husband of 52 years Joseph Flagg of Lincoln, a brother; Norman Anderson of Newport, RI, 4 nephews 2 grandnieces

A funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the Edmund Fournier Funeral home 144 Main Street, North Woodstock.
Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Lincoln, at a time to be announced
