Henry E. Strickland

Henry E. Strickland of West Street died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center following a short illness. He was 94.

Born on June 23, 1915 in Lincoln, NH, he was the son of Edward & Mary (Pollard) Strickland.

A lifelong resident of Lincoln, he was a graduate of Lincoln High School and then served in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of Lincoln American Legion Post #83.

He retired as a construction foreman from R.S. Audley Company.

He leaves his wife Rose (Simpson) Strickland of Lincoln,
A son William Strickland, Jr of Mesa, Arizona
A sister Evelyn Conn of Lincoln
Several Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

A son William (Bill) Strickland and several brothers and sisters died before him.

Funeral services will be held at 8pm, Tuesday, March 16 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St., North Woodstock, NH

Calling hours will be held from 6-8 Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
