Marietta L. Bossie

Lincoln, NH

Mrs. Marietta (Marie) L. Bossie of Lincoln Green passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 15, 2010 while visiting her son in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was 90.

Marietta was the daughter of the late Leonide and Eugenie (Simard) Charland.

A longtime resident of Lincoln, she was a homemaker and in earlier years was

employed at the Franconia Paper Company. She was a communicant of St. Joseph

Church in Lincoln and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.

In retirement years, she and her husband Leonard lived in Apopka, FL.

On the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary Marie and Leonard were honored by their family with a scholarship fund established in their names at St. Anselm college.



She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Leonard R.
Bossie, in 1999.

She leaves a daughter Pauline Harrington and her husband Charles of North Woodstock

Two sons: Norman Bossie and his wife Marie of Riva, MD and Robert Bossie and his longtime companion Jeannette Gagnon of New Castle, NH

Five grandchildren: Alan Harrington of Bedford, MA, David Bossie of Ashton,

MD, Michelle Saren of Burtonsville, MD, Jacqueline Edwards of Westminster, MD, and Darren Bossie of Boca Raton, FL.

A brother George Charland of Milford, NH

Two sisters: Lorraine Lavoie and Theresa Lemire both of Manchester, NH

Several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers: Clement, Leo, and Normand Charland and a sister Marie Magoon.

She also leaves behind her best friends, Eleanor Smith and Dorothy Kitchell of Lincoln, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, March 20 at St. Joseph Church in Lincoln with Rev. John MacKenzie officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock, NH.

Calling hours will be held from 6-8pm Friday, March 19 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main St., North Woodstock, NH.
