Ray M. Sellingham

Mr. Ray M. Sellingham, 75, of Bell St. North Woodstock, died Wednesday, April 8th, 2009 at Littleton Regional Hospital, Littleton.
Ray was born in Campton, New Hampshire on April 27, 1933, the son of the late Frank Sellingham and Ora (Inkell) Day. He attended Campton Schools. Ray lived most of his life in the Campton - Woodstock area. He worked many years for Plymouth Furniture, the former Franconia Paper Co. and Burndy's Corp, he also owned and operated a spray painting business in the area. Ray was a Korean War veteran having served in the U.S. Navy aboard LST 279 in the Pacific Theater. He was a 40 year member of the Joseph, Newton Smith Post 83 of the American Legion of Lincoln. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
IN HIS LIFE
Ray was considered the "Mayor Surveyor" of Lincoln and Woodstock by his loved ones. He is the only person we know that takes one hour to drive the five mile loop.
He was predeceased by a sister Beverley Walker and a brother Freeman Sellingham.
Family members include his wife of 28 years Lee (Wilson) Sellingham of North Woodstock four daughters Vicky Harrington wife of David and Leslie York wife of Robert both of Lincoln, Carol Clark wife of Russell of North Woodstock, and Patti Salazar wife of Danny of Las Vegas, Nevada.
two step daughters, Floraine Place wife of Jon of Easton., Tammy Robins wife of Allan of North Haverhill, a step son; David Robinson, Jr. and his Fiance' Shannon Chase of Thornton, his sister, Audrey Pierce of Lincoln and his brother, Richard Sellingham of Orrtanna, PA, Fifteen grandchildren Six great grandchildren several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 6-8 PM at the Edmund Fournier Funeral Home 144 Main St. North Woodstock.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 14th, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev Ray Bandi Officiating. Burial with Military honors will be in Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock
