Catherine Ethel Ramsey

Lincoln - Catherine Ethel Ramsey, 99, of Lincoln died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Lafayette Center in Franconia, NH.

She was born on June 23, 1910 in Somerville, MA the daughter of William and Bridget (McGonagle) Ayer. Married to Floyd Eugene Ramsey, who predeceased her.

She was a homemaker most of her life. She also worked in the finishing room at the Parker Young Paper Mill for twenty years. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, a communicant of St. Joseph Church and also collected dolls.

The family includes two sons, Floyd W. Ramsey of Littleton, and William Ramsey of Lincoln; four daughters, Frances Fowler of Lake Mary, FL, Patricia Bennett of Milan, Elizabeth Dauphine of Lincoln, and Kathryn Moyer of Bristol; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A calling hour is from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at Fournier Funeral Home, 144 main Street, North Woodstock. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. John MacKenzie as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln.
