Donna Ruth Kidney of Rte 175, Campton passed away Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2009 at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH following a short illness. She was 62.
Born on April 26, 1947 in Exeter, NH, she was the daughter of Donald A. and Ruth Ann (Dolby) Young.
Donna grew up in Rumney, NH and was a 1965 graduate of Plymouth High School.
She then enrolled and completed Margaret’s Beauty School in Concord.
For several years, she was employed at several beauty salons in Plymouth, then Rockwell International in Campton, Rochester Shoe Tree in Ashland as a supervisor’s assistant, and retired from Crowley Moving and Storage in Plymouth as office manager after12 years.
Over the years, She was active in many community activities such as 4-H, Boy Scouts, and Little League. For 15 years, she served as supervisor of the Town of Campton checklist and was past president of Campton Historical Society.
Donna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlework.
She leaves her husband of 42 years whom she married Oct 21, 1967, Lee A. Kidney of Campton

Calling hours will be held from 6-9pm Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Fournier-Hale Funeral Home, 144 Main Street, North Woodstock, NH.
A graveside service will be held at 11am Saturday, October 10, at the family plot at Blair Cemetery in Campton. Rev. John Bascom representing Campton Baptist Church will officiate.
Following the graveside service, A celebration of Donna’s life will follow at the home of Jeffrey & Tammy Kidney, 369 Route 175, Campton.
