Ronald K. (Ron) King, Sr., of Scenic View Drive died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born on August 15, 1938, he was the son of the late Ernest M. and Anna (Suzik) King.
He was raised in Plainfield, CT and attended Plainfield High School.
From 1955-1959, he served in the US Navy.
He resided in Cranston, RI from 1973 until moving to Lincoln, NH in 1992 with his wife.
He and his wife Jerrilynn owned and operated King’s Korner, a very successful restaurant in Lincoln, NH.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, was an avid sports fan and had a passion for playing golf.
His eldest brother, Richard King of North Carolina pre-deceased him.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jerrilynn (Snelgrove) King of North Woodstock
Three children: Donna King of Lyman, NH, Ronald K. King of Groton, CT, and Deborah Ford of North Woodstock, NH
His beloved four grandchildren: Mason and Sage Cohen of Wakefield, RI
And Kyle and Sara Ford of North Woodstock, NH
A brother Robert King and his wife Barbara of Plainfield, CT
A sister Betty Waszkiewicz of Brooklyn, CT
A brother Rocky King and his wife Cindy of North Kingston, RI
His sister-in-law Muriel King of North Carolina

Although no formal services are planned, the family invites everyone to a Celebration of Ron’s Life, starting at 12 Noon on Saturday, June 26 at his home, 14 Scenic View Drive, North Woodstock.
